Luiggi Bunay | Honoree for January 12th, 2024

Luiggi was nominated by James, who said “Luiggi Bunay was hired by the Nassau County Police Department in May of 2022. He graduated from the Police Academy in December of 2022 and was assigned to the Second precinct, where he is currently working.

Tragically Luiggi was diagnosed with a large brain tumor in November of 2023. Luiggi underwent surgery and had the tumor removed, thankfully the tumor was benign. Currently Luiggi is in rehab and is anxious to get back to work and continue his career in Law Enforcement.”
