Meri was nominated by her partner, Frank, who said, “Meri comes from a family of Locust Valley firefighters. She has been a member of the Locust Valley Fire Department for over 20 years. She is an EMT-CC firefighter.  She is a past captain of their ambulance squad. Meri has spent her days during the height of COVID treating and transporting residents to the local hospitals.”
