Michael Anthony Loguercio Jr., of the Ridge Fire Department, was nominated by Tracy Garrabrants who said, “Michael is not just a first responder, but a pillar of the community. He’s someone who always answers the call without hesitation. As a first responder, you face people on the absolute worst days of their lives. Michael possesses technical skills, but offers a person or family in crisis a reassuring voice, a steady hand, and human dignity when it matters most. He walks into chaos and completely shifts the energy in the room. He does that with his trademark calm demeanor. When everyone else is panicking, his steady presence instantly reassures a person and his fellow crew members that they are in safe hands. Beyond his life-saving skills and bravery, he brings a much-needed sense of humor to the firehouse and lifts the spirits of everyone around him. It is this rare balance of profound professionalism, sharp skills, and genuine human warmth that has earned him immense respect.”
Michael, as a small way of saying thanks for all you do for the community, you will receive a $100 gift card to The Pizzeria.
