Miley Cyrus Covers Metallica With Help From Elton John And Chad Smith Of Red Hot Chili Peppers

Miley Cyrus seems to wanna rock. First she worked with Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett and Billy Idol. Now she’s working with Elton John and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith on a Metallica cover.

Miley Cyrus seems to wanna rock.

There is her collaboration with Stevie Nicks.

Of course let’s not forget that also on her “Plastic Hearts” album she Joan Jett and Billy Idol make appearances.

But it does not end there.

According to Blabbermouth Miley said on a recent appearance on the UK radio show “Capital Breakfast With Roman Kemp” “I did a METALLICA cover of ‘Nothing Else Matters’ featuring Elton John on piano. I’ve got Yo-Yo Ma, Chad Smith — so many all-stars. I’m so excited about this collaboration. Andrew Watt produced it, and I’m really stoked. I mean, having Elton John and METALLICA and me — I love it when ingredients don’t quite fit.”

You’ll need to decide for yourself if the ingredients fit.

Check out a recording of Miley doing “Nothing Else Matters” from June 2019.

Do you look forward to hearing this new version of it?

I imagine Lars Ulrich will want to hear it, considering his kind words to Miley in his Instagram post below.
