Growing up in front of the television I was exposed to the talents of the late Roy Clark on a variety of shows. He hosted the goofy music/comedy variety show Hee Haw with great success, as well as guest appearances on the Tonight Show, Flip Wilson, The Muppet Show and bit parts on The Beverly Hillbillies, Love American Style, The Odd Couple and many others. The thing that drew me in was his amazing guitar playing. He also player Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle and other instruments. I want to share with you one shining example of his talent. Watch the video below of his appearance on The Odd Couple and you will see why his passing is a such great loss for those who embrace talented musicianship. RIP Roy and thanks for the music.
