They haven’t released any new tunes in 35 years and the last time they played onstage together was a decade ago, Yet The Police’s music is still as fresh-sounding as it as the first time that the world heard them 40 years ago.

There’s a box set due out later this month which will have all of their albums on remastered vinyl along with the requisite disc of unreleased goodies called “Flexible Strategies”

Fitting that they released this massive collection on vinyl considering that was the only way you could buy their debut album, also out 40 years ago this month. Even here their innovative reggae-infused rock was on glorious display.
