I really get a kick out of people who can play rock classics using some really unique instruments, and a new addition is up near the top of my favorites list.
A woman from Korea named Luna Lee plays a traditional instrument from Korea called the Gayageum, which looks like a cross between a large 12-string slide guitar and a sitar. And her taste in music is most excellent, as she displays with this AC/DC classic.
She casts a wide net of the tunes she covers ranging from the Beatles, Hendrix, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Zeppelin and Nirvana (among many others) Check out her page for some more gayageum goodness.
One of my favorite Floyd tunes off “The Wall” sounds particularly good here,…
,…as does this Stevie Wonder classic.
