He has proudly served as an active member of the Bethpage Fire Department for 17 years and is a Life Member and former Chief of Atlantic Steamer Fire Company in Oyster Bay, where he has dedicated more than 30 years of volunteer service to his community. Professionally, Rich has been a Correction’s Officer with the Sheriff’s Department for 27 years and serves on the Emergency Response Team. Whether protecting the public, responding to emergencies, or volunteering for school visits to educate local children, Rich’s commitment to service, leadership, and community makes him an outstanding role model and a worthy honoree.”
