YOU FOOL!

Those two words encapsulate my favorite highlight of the career of Gilbert Gottfried, who passed away a few days ago at the age of 67.

It may be among the cleanest of his comedic highlights, and I think it is his funniest. I’m talking the 1999 episode of “Hollywood Squares”, in which he gleefully trolls the two contestants who desperately need to secure his square for the win. Needless to say he had everyone in stitches, so much so that it still trends on social media to this day.

As for his more trademark blue humor, his “Comedy Central” roasts of Joan Rivers and Roseanne are particularly vicious!
