Robert Koemm | Honoree for March 31st, 2023

Robert was nominated by his mother, Donna McCorvey, who said, “My son is always the first one to help as a member of the FDNY since 2017 and a member of the Massapequa Fire Department, which he started as an explorer at age 14. I knew as his Mom that he was going to be the first one to jump out of bed in the middle of the night to help all his friends, family and neighbors on the worst day of their lives. He inspired me to also pursue a career as an Emergency Medical Technician. He also became an RN while working full time as an EMT with the FDNY and in about 9 months he will also become a Paramedic.”
