Dolly Parton is a Rock Haller of her word!

“If I’m gonna be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I’m gonna have to earn it!” said Dolly the day she was inducted. She is putting her money where her mouth is with her album “Rockstar” due out November 17.

And what a roster she has assembled, along with quite the collection of rock covers and some original stuff. Among the latter is “World On Fire”, which is out now.

Among the members of Dolly’s travel team include Richie Sambora, Sting, Ann Wilson, Debbie Harry, Elton John, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo along with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. The Metal God, Rob Halford, makes a return appearance on the album, this after joining Dolly for one of my favorite duets on “Jolene”.
