Suzanne Ammirati was nominated by her friend Kerry who said, “She works at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, New York. She has been a registered nurse for 31+ years. Her inspiration for becoming a registered nurse is her mom, as she was a juvenile diabetic years ago. This caused her to always take care of her mom as a youth. She is currently in school for her masters degree in nursing with a specialty in nursing education.”
