The Islanders picked up a huge 2 points in the standings last night at UBS Arena beating Metropolitan Division rival Pittsburgh Penguins beating them 5-4 in OT on a Bo Horvat goal.
However the bigger story was Bo with a different kind bird. In the 1st period a small bird made its way onto the ice as time was winding down and Bo Horvat was mic’d up. As he helped assist on a Matthew Schaeffer goal, a bird flew right next to him.
Bo Horvat was mic’d up for the Bird Goal in the 1st period.
