On Long Island you expect to see a lot of odd things on the roads.
However, no one could expect to see what was seen on Sunrise Hwy in Bay Shore Wednesday, or should we say OVER Sunrise Hwy when this dash cam (@rockydentici) captured a car flying completely over all the lanes around 5pm.
According to News 12 a 70-year-old man was driving a Honda sedan south on Pine Acres Boulevard when the vehicle sped across a grassy embankment and launched off a hill like a ramp, clearing all six lanes of Sunrise, landing up against a tree on the other side of the highway.
What’s crazier is the driver survived with minor injuries.
