Mostly beloved former Met Pete Alonso returned to Citi Field the past few days as a member of the Orioles. For an opposing player he was continually getting ovations when he came to bat.
Yesterday, sitting at 299 Home Runs, he tied the game in the 9th with his 300th HR and eventually won 7-5 in 11 innings.
After the game Pete met up with the fans who caught the ball and couldn’t have been nicer to them.
