Scorpions were talking about working on a new album in early 2020.
The plan was to do a Vegas residency, “Sin City Nights”, in the fall.
While they were doing that, they’d also be working on a new album.
Of course, those plans were pre pandemic.
Those plans then changed.
Their Vegas residency is now set to finally happen in May of 2022.
But, the band moved forward on recording new material.
In April of 2020 they released a song “Sign Of Hope”.
Scorpions have dropped some snippets of music on social media since then.
The latest piece of new music came on August 9th, 2021 when the band posted a video clip of themselves playing live in the studio.

The song title appears to be “Seventh Sun”.
Below that you can watch a clip they posted in June 2021 of them playing recorded snippet of a song from the album as well.
