Watch as we speak with Jay Jay French and Mark “The Animal” Mendoza of Twisted Sister and Norm Prusslin co-founder and board member of The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame at the opening of their museum.

November 25th, 2022 The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame opened their museum at 97 Main St. Stony Brook, NY.

The museum’s debut exhibit is about the Long Island clubs of the 60′s, 70′s and 80′s.

So not only are so many of the Island’s bands represented but those legendary clubs as well.

Places like Speaks, The Mad Hatter, My Father’s Place and more.

At a special reception prior to the public opening I spoke with Jay Jay French and Mark “The Animal” Mendoza from Twisted Sister about the museum and the days and clubs represented in the museum.

We also spoke to co-founder and board member of The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame, Norm Prusslin.

We spoke about the museum as it is now and future plans as well.

Watch our conversations below and visit the museum.

It is open Wednesday through Sunday each week.
