Thomas Earl Petty was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida.

It was there that Tom spent his childhood.

It was also where Tom formed his band Mudcrutch that gave him his first taste of success.

We lost Tom October 2nd 2017, just weeks before his 67th birthday.
