Birthday Wishes of Long Island Presents Food, Wine & Wishes! On Thursday, November 6th, you can go to Appliance World in Huntington for a fun evening bringing local restaurants and community members together to raise funds to support Birthday Wishes’ programs and services. From 6:30pm to 9pm, you can enjoy tasting from top restaurants, great wine, raffles and more! 106.1 BLI will be there!
You can try food & meet the chefs from Bartaco, Bistro Cullinary Market, Cirella’s Restaurant, Grandma’s Table and Spuntino’s Restaurant. And for your sweet tooth, try out Chip City Cookies!
Plus, they will be honoring NY Times best-selling author Regina Calcaterra for her ongoing dedication and support of Birthday Wishes’ mission.

Since 2002, the mission of Birthday Wishes has been to support the social-emotional needs of families experiencing homelessness, by helping build a foundation for healthy self-confidence and self-esteem through milestone celebrations.
Our goal is to encourage and enable caregivers to host celebrations at their shelter, so they can show their child just how much they love and value them.
Our programs work in collaboration and in conjunction with the mental health support programming offered by our shelter partner network to address trauma families may be experiencing so they can restore family and community connections.
