On Saturday, March 9th, give the gift of life by donating blood at St. Matthew’s Church - 35 North Service Road, Dix Hills - for the 4th Annual Daniela Conte Foundation Blood Drive in memory of Daniela. Come on down anytime from 11am-5pm. Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcome, if space permits.
All it takes is a little of your time, and you can save lives. When you donate, you are paying it forward for yourself, your family and your neighbors in need. One of the greatest benefits of being a blood donor is the knowledge that you are making a vital difference in the lives of others when you share your good health.
March 2, 2024 will mark 4 years that Daniela passed away from cancer. In her memory, DCF will be honoring her life with another blood drive hosted by the New York Blood Center. Since 2020, over 200 people have donated their blood and time to help many local kids battling cancer. DCF and NY Blood Center are ready to do it all again in 2024.
All donors will receive a free wellness checkup that includes blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening.
