Long Island Arts Council Features a Musical Talent Event

102.3 WBAB invites you to join a musical talent event with the Empowering Artists with Disabilities organization, in association with the Long Island Arts Council at Freeport happening this Summer!

Empowering Artists With Disabilities (EAD) creates platforms and opportunities for artists with disabilities to pursue viable career goals. The organization provides artists with customized guidance that will meet their needs and provide the tools and knowledge they require to establish themselves as creative artists.

EAD shines a spotlight on the extensive and diverse community of artists with disabilities. Each individual has unique challenges, and it is important to be aware of and respect the struggles a disabled person goes through every day. At EAD, they intend to show the world how difficulties can be overcome through the power of art.

102.3 WBAB and Empowering Artists With Disabilities happily invite you to participate in their event on Thursday, August 3rd at 7pm, where they will showcase their member musicians and artists.
