Save-a-Pet worked hard to get the bonded pair adopted together, but sometimes the most loving choice is the hardest one. Hercules deserves the chance to finally begin his own life. He needs a loving home with proper diet and care. He loves going for walks and will be a trusted companion for life. Save-A-Pet is a 501c3 no-kill shelter and have rescued and re-homed over 40,000 companion animals. We rely solely on donations. Save-A-Pet is located in the heart of Long Island in Port Jefferson Station. We have a low-cost vaccination and spay/neuter clinic. At Save-A-Pet’s Long Island animal shelter, we believe it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless cats and dogs, and to place them in loving permanent homes. We provide spay and neuter services for Long Island feral cats and any necessary medical care for pets. We work diligently to educate the public, especially children, on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.
