Joe Rock and WBAB have teamed up with Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue & Adoption to help find your Pawfect Pet!

Each Wednesday, Joe will choose a Pet of the Week and will highlight that pet! A new pet will be chosen and featured each week!

Dino is a 3 year old mini labradoodle who was given up due to “no time for” anymore.  Kids back at school, both parents working means no time for Dino.  He is a very sweet boy and only 38 pounds.  He is all up to date on medical and ready to go to his new “FOREVER” home.  Do you have room in your heart and home for Dino?

Save-A-Pet is a 501c3 no-kill shelter and have rescued and re-homed over 40,000 companion animals. We rely solely on donations. Save-A-Pet is located in the heart of Long Island in Port Jefferson Station. We have a low-cost vaccination and spay/neuter clinic. At Save-A-Pet’s Long Island animal shelter, we believe it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless cats and dogs, and to place them in loving permanent homes. We provide spay and neuter services for Long Island feral cats and any necessary medical care for pets. We work diligently to educate the public, especially children, on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.
