Marvel Studios capped its Comic-Con presentation in San Diego with the announcement that Robert Downey Jr. would be returning to its cinematic universe — playing villain Doctor Doom in the next “Avengers” film instead of Tony Stark/Iron Man. “New mask, same task,” Downey Jr. told cheering fans.
