Mara Hayes, who works in the NCPD, was nominated by her brother Michael Hayes, who said “Mara has been with the Nassau county police e department since birth. Her father is a retired NCPD highway cop, and supervisor. She worked at the NCPD credit union. Than heard the calling and being assigned to the 2nd precinct, first in Syosset. Woodbury and then helping to run the 2nd precinct. She has made many community as well as NCPD/NYPD connections and friends.″
